The cultural context of language is as important in how a person interprets words as the cultural context of perception is in how a person comprehends the universe. Where Aristotelian logic channels us into ideas of correct and incorrect interpretation, natural language gives us enough flexibility to use words in whatever ways suit us to describe the conditions we understand. Until we teach computers to understand language like this, their language will not be natural.
