Title: Semantic Interpretation and the Resolution of Ambiguity
Date: 1987 London
Publisher: Cambridge University Press

Semantics led me to the common sense, pragmatic knowledge implicit in our understanding of semantics, and common sense led me to reasoning, to thinking, to perceiving, to the physiology of cognition, and finally to microtubules and intermediate filaments, at which time I decided to return to the safety of English.
