I bought this book for the kids. Like many such books, I read it to them, I directed them to look through it sometimes to answer questions for themselves, and I occasionally peeked into it myself. This is where I really learned how fusion and fission work, along with some good stuff about tokamaks and toruses. Just after the section on automatic transmissions and cruise controls, there are almost 30 pages of stuff on computers that even I can understand.
