24 Mar output
In computing systems, output is what is delivered to peripheral devices as a result of processing. Most output goes to a monitor. Formerly teletypes were used. Printers and modems also accept output. In the brain, neurons have outputs individually through axons via synapses to other neurons. Collective output of the nervous system includes thoughts, words and actions.
