Bayesian NetworkA Bayesian Network is a formalized linked collection of named nodes with propositional links used in classical multivariate probabalistic systems to predict outcomes. These networks are used and  studied in fields such as statistics, systems engineering, information theory, pattern recognition and statistical mechanics.
