The pictures that come out of these guys’ laboratories make Frankenstein look handsome. Neurons with slender dendrites branching skyward from a straight and sturdy trunk exist in laboratories, and possibly in the brain, but ink-blot looking gray clumps of neuron may be a more accurate picture of in-vivo neuron morphology.
